This is a little late; we were going to have this be the post for the Saturday after Saint Patrick’s day, but we decided that day would be better spent with a link to relief for Japan. So here we are, with an Irish Stew that is particularly delicious. Although we used lamb for this recipe, feel free to use beef, or take out the meat entirely for a vegetable stew. This is a hearty dish that will make you fat and happy and want to sleep after you eat it. We also don’t have pictures of this, unfortunately, as we forgot until after we ate it all up. Whoops!

Masterpiece Chicken
This is something I created last night that combines a delicious fried chicken taste with lemon basil sauce. Cory had the lemon basil idea, and I took all his ingredients to make “the best thing he’s ever tasted.” We also made herbed potatoes and a side of corn + peas. Everything went wonderfully together. So, please try this out and let us know if you enjoy it as much as we did. (We both ate two pieces of chicken and probably could have eaten more… thank god there wasn’t any or we might’ve exploded).
Tunisian Recipes
As I said before, we cut the couscous recipe in half-ish, because it is obviously too big for two people to eat within even a month.
Also, the harisa recipe makes a little over a cup (from what we saw), and you only use a tablespoon or something ridiculously small in the recipe. However, it is a very spicy tomato-ey paste, so you can use your imagination and put it with whatever you want. (I emphasize the spicy part.. if you need a reason, refer to my notes on how my hands were burning well into the night from cutting and seeding the peppers).
Enjoy
